Test Print Viewer
As students cannot evaluate prints and test strips in safelight conditions, considerable class disruption can occur when a constant stream of students exits from the darkroom to view prints outside in white light. When they return their ‘darkroom sight’ is lost and readaption is necessary. These constant changes can be a source of eyestrain.
The test print viewer is a black box containing a light source which enables students to evaluate their prints and tests by placing them inside the viewer. It is suitable for prints up to 20 x 30cm. No more room exits, no sight loss, no eyestrain!
NOTE : Wet prints should always be carried around the darkroom in trays. A 20 x 25cm print tray will fit into the test print viewer. In the interests of Health and Safety you don’t want water or chemical solutions spilling on the darkroom floor. It is suggested that you purchase two test print viewers if you have a large class.
