Wall Mounted Film Dryer |
|
The wall mounted film dryer occupies a small space in the darkroom and will accept up to 28 rolls of full length 36 exposure films. Air is drawn in at the top of dryer through a Merecel filter. The air is then heated to the correct thermostatically controlled temperature and exhausted at the dryer base. The maximum dryer air temperature is 40C which avoids overheating the darkroom during summer months. | |

NOTE : It is a good practice to ‘chamois off’ the backs of films (never the emulsion side) before hanging in a dryer.

As you’ve probably discovered, with some water supplies it’s almost impossible to avoid water marks on the film back. So try the chamois, it’s perfect!
